Beat the Chill with a New Mystery!

It’s very cold right now in the PNW and when it stays this cold for any extended time, I just want to curl up under a blanket with a book. Besides wanting to snuggle up and read, I also begin to think about upcoming vacations and new areas I might want to visit and explore.

Does this sound like you?

Snuggling with a book is easy; taking little effort or money. Vacations, on the other hand, take planning and saving, and a whole lot of steps in between.

But I’ve got you covered on both counts.

If you want to snuggle with a book—actually, a new series—and take a road trip that won’t cost you time to plan or a reduction in your savings, AND you enjoy mysteries, then I have just the thing…

The Road Trip Mystery Series!

Ignorance is Bliss is the debut novel in the Road Trip Mystery Series where you will meet Kendra and Camille Sweet. One is recently divorced and the other is living in their parents’ home after the loss of her apartment. While the sisters are grieving the loss of their father, neither can console the other due to their own fractured relationship caused by an old quarrel between them. Given each of their situations, they both feel ready for a fresh start.

But when that fresh start presents itself, along with their father’s dying wish, neither are certain they can claim the opportunity. In order to inherit, their father has instructed that his daughters travel on the road together, for a total of one year. Regardless of their relationship, Kendra and Camille have to come together to agree. The inheritance would allow them to start their lives over, but can they set aside their differences while traveling and living in a recreational vehicle for a whole year?

Only time will tell…

Starting from the Pacific Northwest, Kendra and Camille will begin their trip together, along with their father’s Corgi, Marvin. They will work through difficulties, both old and new, as best they can. But only a few weeks in, their relationship takes a back seat when they have to work together to help a new friend accused of her husband’s murder.

In Two Birds, One Stone, the Sweet Sisters are on the road again with Marvin, where they spend their free time sightseeing, as well as keeping up with their favorite hobbies of scrapbooking, photography, blogging, and jewelry-making.

But as amateur sleuths, it also becomes routine to solve mysteries along the way.

In Two Birds, One Stone, Kendra and Camille settle in for an extended stay in Colorado, where they attend a mystery dinner and quickly find themselves immersed in a real murder investigation. When a fake murder is shadowed by a real one, will Kendra and Camille use their new sleuthing skills to help solve the murder before they become the killer’s next target instead?

You’ll have to read the series to find out!

I hope you’ll join Kendra and Camille in these and future installments of the Road Trip Mystery Series as they travel and explore, meet new friends, and get caught up in solving mysteries along the way.
