New release in a new series!

If you follow my blog, you know I’ve been quiet on this forum for more than a few months, but it doesn’t mean I’ve been slacking. 🙂 I’ve just had to prioritize my tasks due to a hectic schedule since the first of the year. However, I’m happy that with this post I get to share that I have a new release, in a new series! If you aren’t part of my newsletter group, you may be surprised to hear I’m even writing a new series…and for those who enjoy the Jorja Matthews Mystery Series, don’t worry…I still plan on writing more books in that series as well.

However, two new characters have competed for my attention lately, and I’m thrilled to share that my new series is also a mystery series.

Ignorance is Bliss is the debut novel in my newest project, The Road Trip Mystery Series, where you will meet the Sweet Sisters, Kendra and Camille. One is recently divorced and the other has been living in her parents’ home after the loss of her apartment. While both are grieving the loss of their father, neither can console the other due to their own fractured relationship caused by an old quarrel between them. Given each of their situations, they both feel ready for a fresh start.

But when that fresh start presents itself, along with their father’s dying wish, neither are certain they can claim the opportunity. In order to inherit, their father has instructed that his daughters travel on the road together, for a total of one year. Regardless of their fractured relationship, Kendra and Camille have to come together to agree to travel together.

The inheritance would allow both sisters to start their lives over, but can Kendra and Camille set aside their differences while traveling and living in a recreational vehicle for a whole year?

Only time will tell…

Starting from the Pacific Northwest, Kendra and Camille will begin their trip together, along with their father’s dog, Marvin. As they travel during the course of the year, they will work through difficulties, both old and new, as best they can. But only a few weeks in, their relationship takes a back seat when they have to work together to help a new friend who is accused of murder.

I hope you’ll join Kendra and Camille in this and future installments of The Road Trip Mystery Series as they travel and explore, meet new friends, and get caught up in solving mysteries along the way.Â
