Happy Release day! Jorja is back!
I’m thrilled to share that the next novel in the Jorja Matthews mystery series is available in both eBook and print formats! The novel is titled Web of Lies and is the sixth novel in the series (you can find the first five novels here).
Here’s the blurb to give you a preview about what Jorja gets herself involved with this time:
An upcoming fall festival becomes a marketing opportunity for private investigator and bookstore owner, Jorja Matthews, and with the help of her newly married best friend, Taylor, the event goes off without a hitch. Until a killer uses the festival as an opportunity to commit murder and Jorja finds herself caught in the middle after learning the police found the victim clutching Jorja’s bracelet.
Jorja investigates the murder, but soon finds herself involved in another case that takes a surprising turn only days after a woman asks for Jorja’s help. And when local police decide to zero in on Jorja’s brother, Ryan, as a likely suspect in a hit and run, she will stop at nothing to prove his innocence.
Running the bookstore while investigating multiple cases keeps Jorja on her toes, especially when she attempts to remove her brother from the suspect list. And as secrets continue to reveal themselves, Jorja must sift through a web of lies to find the answers before harm may come to those closest to her.

If you prefer eBooks, you can find it here.
If you prefer paperbacks, you can find it here.
I introduced a new character in this volume, a female officer new to the force who doesn’t take to Jorja’s charm as much as Fritz and Reynolds do. And I also had some fun giving a dear friend of mine a cameo in this novel…she gets to play the part of a feisty and protective executive assistant.
You might notice a slight change when it comes to the cover of this latest release compared to the other volumes. I decided to update the series covers after this release was complete and I’m telling myself this is the last time. Updating one cover is okay but multiplied by five is seriously time consuming. Changes for the whole series include a different title font in caps, I’m using color and the subtitle has a new look and place on the cover. I’m also updating each book in the series with regard to my “about author” page. Those pages don’t include information about my website or newsletter, which I worked so hard on to share with readers! I’m still updating the prior volumes (it’s a process) but eventually the eBooks and print books will have the same look and details as this latest release.
I say it every time I publish, but I’m thrilled to finally release this novel and move on to the next. I hope you grab your copy of Web of Lies soon and I truly hope you enjoy it. If you do read the novel, don’t forget to share an honest review. Reviews help me as far as my author rating, but they also help future readers who might not know yet whether they should give me a shot.
Have a great day and happy reading!
